It happened again. We have discovered the problem lies not only with the word “smoking” but with other words that have the “oke” sound. Witness the tomfoolery (that’s right, I’m resurrecting that word) that was my Saturday morning. Elliot pokes me in the butt and laughs.
Me: What are you doing? Are you poking my bum?
Her: Ya. I fuck a your bum!
The scene gets repeated over and over again because her parents’ hysterical laughter seems to reinforce her behavior. I don’t know which version I like best, the above, or these fun variations that also popped up:
“I fuck a you in the bum!”
“I fuck a mommy’s bum.”
Great. More things I can look forward to being questioned about by the day care workers.
(As a fun side note, I shudder to think what kind of internet pervs are going to find this post through Google. Back off bum-lovers! This is -usually- a wholesome, family site!)

ah, that’s funny
like i said, i’m going to hell, lol.
hey…i found a video that shows magic loop knitting…
Magic Loop Knitting
I think my problem is that I’m totally cheap and bought a $2.50 circular from the craft store and it’s a piece of crap. It’s the equivalent of a slinky with a toothpick taped to each end, only not as useful.
Ah ya, Andi, sorry. That might have slipped out when I saw Miss Elly Belly the other day. My bad. Fuck, sorry……NOT!$%^@#$$
Oh My Gosh….
I had to have my cats perform the Heimlich maneuver on me…
I choked on my spit.
That is literally the funniest thing I have heard in as long as I can remember….
what with the oxygen loss to the brain, that’s not far.
Nonetheless,
Ridonculous.
Absolutely a gem blog entry.
Thank you.
HAHAHAHA! When she’s older, she’ll beg you to never tell that story to her friends or male callers. Although I’m sure the guys would love to hear it.
And to Molly: I have an Aero circular needle and it seems to work ok, but my gauge is usually a bit off. And thanks for that link! I’ll be bookmarking that one…
Alright, I am going to respond to the first four comments all together – here goes…
Molly – thanks for the video link. I love that site. I find her videos extremely useful. I will have to muster up my patience and actually pay attention and maybe I will grasp the concept. Oh, and crappy circular needles suck. I used some to knit some clogs and I finally broke down and bought the Knit Picks options needles. You should check them out.
Larsen – I rescued you and your potty mouth from spam. You can thank me later.
Talia – Oh, how I miss your hi-jinks! I’m glad you can still visit me virtually.
Queen Sarah – This story will be the front page of the school newspaper unless she stays in line! Ha ha. And nice use of the term “male callers”. I thoroughly enjoyed that.
