1. Today is practically beach weather up in the Great White North. It’s a lovely -6C (21F). The ice inside my house has melted and I can even go outside without mittens. Sweet.
2. Things were looking fairly bleak regarding the renegade blog for a few days. It felt like the comments being left by me and the other bloggers were being ignored by the thief. But today, victory is mine! I went to see if my posts had been removed, but the “author” of the blog gave me an even nicer treat – she deleted the entire thing! Since almost all of the blog consisted of stolen posts, this was probably the easier route.
Thanks for all of your helpful and sweet comments about the plagiarism. I hope you all will be on the look-out for stolen content – it really can happen to anyone, but I hope it doesn’t happen to you. To be honest, the whole thing left me feeling a bit icky and creeped out. And would-be plagiarists be warned: I will find you. I’m magic like that.
