And the great linky parade continues… Again, if I’ve mentioned you below and you wish to steal the E is For Excellent blog award on my Award page, go for it!
People I know for realz
Baad Medicine – These two knitting mamas helped to preserve my fragile sanity during the dark days with a newborn. They made me leave the house. They said kind things when I needed to hear them. I love them to bits. Oh, and they are super funny, too (and cool – despite T’s recent assertion to the contrary).
Cheeze Whiz and Mustard – This saucy little condiment is my sister-in-law. She is currently pregnant and living in a far away hellhole and I miss her. Go say hi.
I can’t remember how long I’ve been reading these girls, but I do know they are awesome
A Child Is Born – Talented writer. All around sweet thing.
Attack of the Redneck Mommy – She lives near me so I’m trying to avoid freaking her out by controlling my stalkerish tendencies – I really do hate those pesky restraining orders. I’m sure you know her – if not, go there now. I dare you to read her and not laugh.
Get In The Car! – Ridiculously funny. And I have no idea how she has time to write with 4 kids.
I’d Rather Be Blogging – Commenter extraordinaire. All around ha-ha funny.
Magpie Musing – I can’t put my finger on what it is exactly that I like about her (maybe there are too many things to single out just one quality?) I just know we click somehow and I can’t stop reading her.
Milk Breath and Margaritas – How can you not love someone with a blog title like that?
Shamelessly Sassy – I started reading Amanda one blog ago when she had, like 3 comments a post. On her new blog, people have found her. She’s exploded in popularity and for good reason – the girl is hilarious.
Tabula Rasa – One of my original stalkers. She is funny despite her insistence that her new baby is slowly eating her brain.
Transplanted Knitter – One of my two readers back in my early blogging days. She calls one of her daughter’s “The Terrorist” – see now why I heart her?
Temporary? Insanity – All around fantastic. And I’m not just saying that because she’s kissed my ass on a number of occasions.
World of One Thousand Different Things – Found her through Slouching Mom. Love her writing style. Look forward to her Saturday Pursuits post every week.
The Z Files – She views life in a lot of the same ways I do. She rocks.
People I’ve discovered recently and am gently stalking
All & Sundry – Rotten Jennifer sent some fabulous links my way – this was one of them. Now she is one of my new favorites. Gifted photographer. Laugh out loud funny.
Hey, I’m Going Crazy. Are You Coming? – I found Huckdoll in another blog’s comments. She sounded right nasty, but I was intrigued. Who is this ballsy woman? I wondered. Now, I’m hooked on her. Under her sassy exterior she is a real sweetheart.
Lilac Colored Glasses – Thoughtful commenter and blogger. She recently moved to Belgium and reading about her struggles with learning Dutch and living in another country is making for some interesting reading.
Loralees Looney Tunes – I found her through Casey. Like Casey, her posts are often funny and thought-provoking. And she jumped out of a plane! Wow.
The New Girl – Hilarious girl with cutest baby girl ever.
Not In Front of the Children! – I’m new to her site, but she’s drawn me in the with funnies.
Oh My Stinkin’ Heck – Warning: Visiting Heather’s blog will give you a serious case of photo envy. And she’s a great writer, too.
Problem Girl – Jen pretty much kicks ass. I really admire her – on top of being a mama, she’s a surrogate mama. And she’s pumping milk for the new baby! That degree of selfless generosity blows my mind.
Rimarama – She is one of my new must-reads – sassy, funny, and thoughtful. You simply must visit her.
Semi-desperate Housewife – Love this blog. Keep going back for more.
Swistle – And yet another blog I’m newly addicted to, thanks to Jennifer (my messy house and neglected children thank you, my friend). Swistle has 5 (yes, 5!) kids. How she even has time to blog is a mystery I’m determined to solve.
And a couple of guys for good measure
Creative-Type Dad – It was his hysterical posts about potty-training that hooked me.
View From the Cloud – Another funny guy and loyal commenter. Plus, he brought the spinning lady into my life. That thing kept Jay and me busy for almost an hour one drunken evening.
*******************************************************
A disclaimer: This is by no means an exhaustive list – sadly, I read many more blogs than this (see my blogroll for proof of that). I love each and every one of you reading this.
Now that I’ve written the lamest linky posts ever – I mean seriously, how many different ways can you say the words “funny” and “love” – I shall sign off. But because these posts are always comment-killers, I’ll ask you to leave me a comment. What blog am I not reading that you absolutely think I should and why? Because I’m sure I can figure out a way to have the house clean itself while I meet some more people in my virtual neighborhood.

Thanks – love you too!!
Most of my blog addiction is thanks to you – so I can’t add much more!!
