Poot and Cubby

I’m Andi.

Mom of two - my daughter, Elliot, who was born in 2004 and my son, Arlo, born in 2007.

I rotate between loving staying at home and counting the days until my maternity leave is over.

I often ramble while striving to be funny (sometimes with limited success.)

Writing is one of my addictions.  Mostly I write about my kids (hello, enlightening poop stories!) and my various attempts at maintaining my sanity.

My inner attention whore is fed by the blogging monster.  I’m busily hunting for other sources of food for said attention whore before I get swallowed whole by the interwebs.

I’m sure you may be wondering - What the hell is a “Poot and Cubby”?

It’s “Poop and Cookie” as my daughter used to pronounce them when she first started speaking. For me it represents the ups and downs of parenting. I find life with kids a lot easier when I accept the existence of said “poot” (and my God, is there a lot of it sometimes), because I know that an equal amount of “cubby” also exists. What goes in must come out…
